One of the cars that we believe will escalate in value considerably in the next few years are the mid 1964-1966 Ford Thunderbirds. These cars are gaining in collector popularity and good examples are becoming difficult to find.

This very nice 1964 T-Bird convertible is finished in its correct triple black with its original 390 V8. The car also has the dealer installed Roadster kit and factory A/C.

This car has been in Palm Springs, California for a number of years. The convertible top pump has just been replaced and the top mechanism works flawlessly. The convertible top is in excellent condition. The car had received a repaint some time ago; the paint shows very, very well. There are no rust spots in the paint, no bubbles. Front suspension bushings are new. The engine does seep a bit of oil …the car is 46 years old. Mileage indicates just over 30,000 though we can not provide documentation that it is indeed correct. The way the car drives however…..it could be. There are no rattles or squeaks in the car. All of the windows work and the car’s glass in excellent condition. Most of the bright work is better than average. The A/C is inoperative and will most likely require that the compressor be replaced.

The vehicle data plate breaks down as follows:

Body 76A Convertible

Color A Raven Black

Trim 56 Black

Date 20c March production

Axle 1 3.0

Transmission 4 Cruise o matic

We just took the car to Cars and Coffee last weekend – the car was very well received. This is a VERY nice car.

This car runs terrific. There are some minor flaws though nothing serious. It is a great driver and most certainly could be enjoyed just as is for many years to come.

Listed at just $28,900…..offers considered.

Every now and then something very special presents itself; take this 1955 Chrysler 300 for example. Make no mistake; THIS is the car that started the muscle car era!

In 1955, Chrysler pounced on the automotive world with the new 300. Only 1725 examples where produced and the cars were available in but three colors, Red, White and Black. All 300’s had the 300 horse power (hence the name) 331cid Hemi V8 with race-profiled cams, solid lifters and twin 4 barrel carburetors, stiffer suspension and performance exhaust system.

Reports indicate that there may only be about 225 of these cars left of the 1725 manufactured. These cars are very collectable and in our opinion will reach staggering values in the years ahead.

This car:

This is a very, very nice driving car, its owner wanting a car that could be driven- not just looked at. The car has been restored to a very high standard, but, always with the intent of being driven and enjoyed, not as a car that would be tucked away.

The car has been refinished in its original factory White with natural leather- also new. The headliner is new, the carpeting is new, the dash was removed, rebuilt and repainted. The wiring harness was replaced.  The original engine and transmission have been overhauled.

We did fail to mention one thing….of the 1725 cars produced there were reportedly only 11 that we equipped with factory A/C (you had to know someone to get this very rare option) this is one of those cars!

Offered at just $79,900

Inspections welcomed gladly.

 SOLD

Offered for sale is this fantastic 1968 Porsche race car.

1968 marked the first time that Porsche won a Trans-Am championship. The car was engineered by Mac Tilton, built by Mac, Don Breslauer and Tony Adamowicz and brilliantly driven by Tony. The 2.o liter Porsche beat many of the larger capacity 5.o liter cars often and quite handily.

The orignal car from 1968 appears to have been lost forever. Marc Zurlinden decided that the car was so important however, that it should be rebuilt…reborn if you will.  Marc acquired a tub and started the project. Unlike most tribute cars however, the original team members were still available and were consulted for this build and the car built to the  same specifications as the original 1968 championship winning car. The car is so true to the original that it was invited to participate at last years Monterey Historics at Laguna Seca…..a very, very rare honor indeed for any car, let alone a tribute car. Not only was the car invited to participate- it was also very, very competitive.

This fantastic turn key race car runs with an HONEST 2.o liter motor and runs Solex carbs as did the original in ‘68. We can not stress enough how much attention was put towards re-creating a nearly perfect copy of the original race car.

Tony Adamowicz has been back in the cars office at both the Rennsport event at Daytona and the historic races in Portland, Oregon. Marc Zurlinden drove the car brilliantly in Monterey; Marc being a very accomplished driver himself.

This car is offered at $95,000 (U.S.) Full build sheet and build photos available. Offers / interesting trades considered.

1955 introduced “Imperial” as its own marque and designer Virgil Exner punctuated the brand with the introduction of the 1955 Imperial Newport 2 door coupe. These cars had a remarkable presence; styling details having been foreshadowed by the Italian-bodied show cars of the early 1950’s under Exner. It was Exner who took Chrysler Corporations stable to its “Forward Look” at a reported cost of around $250 million. His designs graced the cars of Plymouth, Dodge, DeSoto and of course, the Chrysler line itself. 3418 Imperial coupes were manufactured in 1955 with a 130” wheel base and a length over-all of 224”. This is a big car.

The cars were fitted with a 331 Cubic Inch Hemi V8 producing 250 horse power, matted to a Power Flight Transmission with a unique in dash shift lever.

The 1955 Imperial was unique in other ways as well, it was the only year that the car was produced with full radius wheel openings; bumper guards were also fully enclosed. The “gun sight” rear tail lights, located on top of the rear fenders, were borrowed from the 1951 K510, Exners first show car for Chrysler.

The price tag on the 1955 Imperial was a hefty (for the time) $4,720.00 and the car weighed in at approximately 4,500 lbs; darn near a dollar per pound. Despite stiff competition from other luxury brands, Cadillac, Lincoln and Packard, sales of the 1955 Imperials nearly doubled thanks to the image boost. These cars were pure Luxury; even the seats were unique in that each seat coil spring was individually bagged, not unlike a modern day mattress.

Though 3418 1955 Imperial Newport Coupes were manufactured it is unknown how many have actually survived, though it is estimated that the figure is somewhere around 100 cars. We have been able to locate only 23 so far; none of which (that we are aware of) are currently available for sale anywhere or at any price.

This car.

This 1955 Imperial is in fantastic condition having received a 5 year restoration. The car is finished in a two tone White over black with matching White leather and black “V” cloth insert interior. The factory “V” cloth insert material was acquired for a hefty sum; making this perhaps the only restored 1955 Imperial Coupe with this factory cloth insert in existence.

The car has its original 331 Hemi and two speed Power Flight transmission. The plating on the car has been restored to near perfect standards at a substantial cost; nearing $25,000 alone. All 5 wire wheels are factory original “Motor Wheels” that have been completely rebuilt and restored at a cost of approximately $1,000 per wheel. The paint is Sikkens and is fantastic.

The car is equipped with Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Brakes, Power Seats and the Original Town and County Radio……even the clock works.

This car starts runs and drives wonderfully. It is truly a regal car that is an absolute joy to drive on the open road. This car is ready for both show and touring. We are of the opinion that the 1955 Imperial Coupe is one of the best looking and most stately designed cars to ever be produced by any American automobile manufacturer. These fantastic cars are becoming very difficult to find and in this condition (considering restoration costs) nearly impossible to come by.

We are offering this exceptional example at $85,000 U.S. Reasonable offers may be considered once the car has been viewed.

Every now and then something REALLY special comes along; this is one of those times!

This extraordinary example of the 1960 Chrysler 300F is finished in its original Alaskan White with Tan leather interior. The factory options include:

(842) Hard top (311) Air conditioning
(353) leather interior (383) remote control mirror
(WW1) Alaskan White Paint (422) Golden Tone radio
(442) Solex tinted glass (523) 3.31:1 rear axle ratio

Total Production for the 1960 300F consisted of 964 hard tops and 248 convertibles or 1212 total units. Of those produced, and as of May 2001, there are 275 hardtops that are known to exist and only 75 convertibles; a total of only 350 surviving cars.

This car has had only 3 California Owners it entire life. The car was originally purchased at San Fernando Valley Motors in May-June of 1960. Its second owner had the car from 1962 until 1986 and its third and current owner has had this wonderful car ever since.

Restoration was started on the car in May of 1994 and was completed about one year later. The car was professionally repainted to its original color and the leather replaced with the correct hides. The chrome that needed refinishing was done, though most of the chrome on the car is original and in near perfect condition as is all of the stainless.  Most every component on the car is original to THIS car including all of the glass. This car is in remarkable original condition, perhaps the most original of any 300F known to exist. The factory air was a very rare option to these cars as are the manual seats that also swivel outward.

This is a stunning example of the 1960 300F that truly is a turn-key car and perhaps one of the best examples to be found anywhere!

We are offering this fantastic piece of automotive history for a very reasonable $85,000

 SOLD

This stunning 360 Modena Coupe is finished in Corsa Red with Beige hides, optional CD changer and F1 paddle shift gear box.

The car runs, shows and drives as new. The car has but 5600 original one owner miles. The car has always been adult driven, never damaged never abused and never smoked in.

This wonderful 360 needs nothing. It comes with all the original books, window sticker, car cover and fire extinguisher.

The car is so good that even the drivers seat shows little, if any wear what-so-ever. There is a very small stone chip on the front deck lid, but, as good as this car is, we simply can not justify re-spaying.

The car is offered at a very reasonable $98,000 U.S. though offers could be considered.

If you are considering a 360 for reasonable money….THIS IS THE CAR!
